Job Description

POSITION TITLE:  Patient Safety Officer

POSITION LOCATION:  Germantown, TN

POSITION SUMMARRY:
Under the supervision of Area Director, the Patient Safety Officer will have primary oversight of the facility-wide patient safety program. This leadership role will direct others within the facility towards process improvements that will support the reduction of medical/health care errors and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Healthcare related degree (Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology Tech..etc). Experience in design and implementation of patient safety curriculum in a complex healthcare delivery system. Formal training in Patient Safety Methodologies ie-(IHI, ISMP, AHRQ, ASHRM, NAHQ, Six Sigma) preferred.
